Bruce County’s Community Safety and Well-Being Planning Homelessness Response Steering Committee has worked to help support those in need across the area.

A real time list of all known people experiencing homelessness has been identified with 126 people seeing chronic homelessness, as those who have been without stable housing for more than six months.

Over the last few months the committee has been able to support those on the list to find homes.

In an effort to reach that goal, Grey and Bruce counties offer 10% of vacant housing units to individuals or families who are on the active By-Name List as those who are experiencing chronic homelessness.
