Grey Bruce Public Health provided an update on the Youth Vaccination campaign that is underway in the Province.
They say as of this morning, December 2nd, the Unit has administered 1171 first doses of Covid-19 vaccine to those ages 5 to 11. This represented 9% of the estimated total population in this age group of 13,005.
Grey Bruce Public Health says all Vaccine Clinics scheduled can accommodate those aged 5 to 11 with an appointment.
There are also special pediatric clinics that have been signed to provide a welcoming and safe environment to families to get their Covid-19 vaccine.
Paediatric clinics are being delivered through partnerships with municipalities, school boards, volunteers, the Vaccine Task Force and contributing parters.
