The Hanover Fire Department released a list yesterday of organizations it wanted to thank following the fire that broke out at a rooming house at 315 10th Street in the town back on May 19th.
In the release they say that during the fire and the days that followed the outpouring of support, kindness, generosity and patience was on full display from their citizens, businesses, organizations and neighbours.
They add that many people came together to support those affected by this tragedy and the first responders on the scene.
They gave a list of those they wanted to assisting with this incident.
They say on behalf of themselves, the Town of Hanover, and Hanover Police Service they extend their sincerest gratitude to everyone who assisted during the fire and the aftercare that followed.
