The Town of Hanover has launched the Well 1 and Well 2 Improvement Project, a piece of major infrastructure to help ensure continued reliability, sustainability and safety of the local drinking water system.

The province is providing over $9.5 million in water infrastructure improvements across Grey and Bruce Counties through the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program.

Mayor Sue Paterson says the town is committed to protecting Hanover’s drinking water future through responsible infrastructure investments and ongoing public engagement.

Both wells provide potable water to residents and business across Hanover with the improvements supporting long term reliability and ensure these critical assets continue to serve for years to come.
