Hanover Lions Club holding Fishing Derby on June 4th

Those itching for fishing will find their fix this weekend in Hanover.

The Hanover Lions Club are presenting the Annual Dennis McCracken Memorial Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 4th. The event that runs from 8 am until noon is at the Ground Effects Trout Pond.

Cost to take part is just 20 dollars per family, maximum of 5 fish, adults 10 dollars, maximum of 2 and kids just 5 bucks maximum of 3 fish.

Children must be accompanied by an adult  and only the adult needs to register if fishing together. It’s a rain or shine event organizers say so dress accordingly.

Fishers need to bring their own bait and rod with fish cleaning provided.

Hot dogs and refreshments will be available for purchase.
