Responding to community concerns, Hanover Police will launch a new campaign to tackle aggressive drivers and loud mufflers.

Starting May 12th and going all summer ending September 12th the campaign dubbed Project Noisemaker will be aimed to go after loud mufflers and aggressive drivers with officers out to increase enforcement efforts over this period of time.

Hanover Police Chief Christopher Knoll says if your vehicle is causing others to turn their heads because of noise levels or windows to rattle as you approach and pass you should expect to be stopped by police.
