A student forum with the Bluewater District School Board was held last Friday bringing in a wealth of activities learning with teachers, volunteers and more.
The Indigenous Student Forum was held at the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre with around 90 grade 7-12 students.
A variety of activities were available for students from bannock making, black ash basket creation , fire making, drumming and guided walks.
As per the tradition of past forums listening to the student voice was a key part of the day to hear feedback on ideas to inform future board planning and programming for indigenous students.
