Huron Perth Public Health issues a press release this afternoon advising that as a follow up on their recent inspection blitz in North Huron they have issued a Section 22 Order to a business operator.

Under Section 22 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, a Medical Officer of Health can issue an order to require a person to take or refrain from taking any action in respect to a communicable disease.

The order outlines requirements an operator must follow to ensure compliance with an Act under the Reopening Ontario act and other recommendations made by HPPH.

The Order will remain in place, HPPH says, until compliance is made by the operator with it’s requirements.

The identity of the business in North Huron was not provided.
