A 16 year old has been charged after a hold and secure was placed at F.E Madill Secondary in Wingham on Monday.
Police were called just before 9am to a threat made by a student towards another student.
A hold and secure was put in place at the high school while staff and police searched the school property for the suspect was found and arrested.
The 16 year old of Huron Kinloss has been charged with Assault with a Weapon.
The accused will appear in court in December.
