Some Kincardine entrepreneurs will be starring down some of the world’s biggest investors.
Trevor Aitchison, the Co-Founder of Waddies will appearing on Dragon’s Den to pitch his product to a panel of multi-millionaires in hopes to get some investment in their venture.
Aitchison and Andy Speers requested $100,000 for 20 per cent of the company as they look to produce a 2nd version of the Waddies game, a tossing style game launched in 2020.
Aitchison says they had previously tried to get on Dragon’s Den but unsuccessfully but after the growth of the game, a second chance had come around.
“Back in May we get an email from a producer at CBC ‘I was just playing Waddies in Thunder Bay, you guys need to audition for Dragon’s Den coming up’ and I was like wow. The producer reached out, we did an online audition with them and two weeks later they say ‘you guys are in'” said Aitchison.
The episode featuring Aitchison and Speers will air on October 16th at 8pm which can be streamed for free on CBC Gem.
