Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event set for Lucknow Saturday

Bruce County is set for Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday in Lucknow.

It is a chance for County residents to bring their hazardous waste materials such as paints, stains, propane tanks, oils, aerosols, batteries, florescent lights, and more to have them safely disposed of.

Commercial, Agricultural, and industrial waste is not being accepted as well as PCD’s, ammunition and flares.

They will only be accepting containers of 30 litres or less and they will not be emptied and returned.

The event is set for the Bruce County Transportation Yard at 545 Ludgard Street from 8 until noon.

Those dropping off are to remain in their vehicles with their trunks open and items will be removed.
