The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board has expressing their pride off the local results of their students for EQAO, having one of the highest participation rates in the province.
Students in the primary division exceeded the results in reading, writing.
76 per cent of primary students reached level 3 or 4 in reading compared to the 74 per cent provincially, 73 per cent in level 3 and 4 in writing in comparison to 65 per cent and a level 3 or 4 in math locally at 68 per cent compared to the provinces 64.
Director of Education, Karen Tigani says she is deeply encouraged by the ongoing commitment and collaboration of staff as they embrace the professional learning and practices required to support achievement of all students.
