Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson was in Clinton yesterday alongside Associate Minister of Mental Health & Addictions Michael Tibollo and Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae to announce the launch of a mobile mental health & addictions clinic in partnership with Medavie to delivery timely care in the Huron-Bruce and Perth-Wellington Regions.

MPP Thompson speaks to the benefits to residents of the area.

“It means going to people, where they are, when they need support, when they are at their most vulnerable state. This is great news. It complements the great services we already have.”

The clinic will have a multidisciplinary team which includes a trained social worker & registered nurse or nurse practitioner who can deliver a wide range of services, including intake and brief services, referrals, and psychiatric support and follow up.

The service is beginning stakeholder discussions next week with an expected launch by late August 2023.
