Huron County has answered the call from the Association of Municipalities of Ontario to call on the government to review financial agreements with the municipalities.
This comes as AMO sent out a letter of support to all 444 municipalities in the province to call for support to make an update to the provincial-municipal financial arrangement which hasn’t been done since 2008.
AMO is hoping the rally of support will bring the provincial government to the table and work on a joint review of municipal finance, dig into infrastructure and service delivery needs.
