As today marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, locally many places are taking part in commemorating the day.

Across all Huron County, library locations are giving away buttons in support of the Orange Shirt Society.

The library will also have multiple reading lists in its catalogue as residents are invited to learn more about Truth and Reconciliation Day.

The county is encouraging everyone to take advantage of the available resources and reflect and increase personal awareness and understand Indigenous topics.
