A total of $3,500 was raised for Victims Services Huron County at the annual Guns vs Hoses charity hockey game.
The match between the Huron County OPP Ice Hogs and Central Huron Fire Department in Clinton on Sunday was well-attended, as the Ice Hogs took a 7-2 victory over the fire department.
There was chuck-a-puck, prizes and a silent auction as part of the festivities.
Constable Craig Soldan says the community support was excellent with support pouring in for local programs including Huron-Perth Crime Stoppers.
