Huron-Kinloss Receives $500,000 toward Improvements at Arena

Funding will see the renovation of the Main Entrance to improve traffic flow and the addition of 2 accessible dressing rooms.

Local Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson was in Ripley yesterday to meet with representatives from the Township of Huron-Kinloss to congratulate them on the Municipality receiving $500,000 from the Community Building Capital Fund.

The funds are being used to renovate the main entrance of the Ripley-Huron Community Centre to improve traffic flow as well as the addition of two new accessible dressing rooms.

Mitch Twolan, Warden of Huron-Kinloss said of the funding that the grant has allowed needed renovations to be made.
