Huron OPP arrest two individuals on outstanding warrants

Huron County OPP have made a pair of arrests involving individuals with outstanding warrants.

Officers discovered one person walking along Summerhill Road north of Clinton Monday afternoon.

They approached the man but was reportedly met with resistance.

However, he was eventually placed under arrest.

A 30-year-old from North Huron is facing charges including assaulting a peace officer, and possession of stolen property.

He was held for a bail hearing in Goderich.

Another suspect was discovered on Leopold Street in Wingham Tuesday afternoon (31st).

They tracked him down to an apartment complex on Minnie Street.

The accused attempted to flee before he too was eventually caught.

Charges against the 36-year-old from South Bruce include possession of cocaine and methamphetamine, and resisting arrest.

He was later released with a June 27th court date in Goderich.
