Members of the Huron Waves Music Festival visited the Blyth Office of Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson Monday to thank the MPP for the support received by them from the Community Building Fund operating grant from the Province and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

The $16,000 was used by the Festival during Covid-19 to help it remain viable by supporting a key leadership position and, by extension, artistic growth and enhancing social & economic sustainability.

The Festival pivoted during the pandemic to create musical travelogues highlighting musical talent from the County.

The organizers now look forward to presenting their first live concert this June.

The seasons programming will be announced next month.
