A fundraising concert in support of Ukraine goes this Wednesday in the Kincardine Legion Hall.

Jazz for Ukraine will feature four different local acts playing their smoothest sounds in support of the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.

Legion President Bob Fletcher says the event has been in plans for a while and will offer a variety of jazz music that all can enjoy.

Barry Elmes, member of the Jazz Diplomats, says that it gives locals a chance to get involved in helping with Ukraine, while also getting to hear some “toe-tapping” jazz.

The show starts at 6:30 p.m. on August 17.

Tickets are $25 in advance and available in person at the Legion, Sleepers Bed Gallery or Fincher’s. They can also be purchased online at www.ticketscene.ca.

Tickets will be available at the door for $30.
