Emergency crews were able to help rescue two kayakers who were caught in the Saugeen River on Saturday.
The Hanover Fire Department was joined with Grey County Paramedics and Hanover Police for a 911 call from kayakers who were separated after leaving the boat launch area of Hanover Park on 7th Avenue.
The fire department deployed drones and a rescue boat to locate the overturned kayakers on the rivers edge.
Police say both were suffering from early stages of hypothermia but were returned safely and taken in for non life threatening injures.
