Kincardine staff and council are advocating for local issues as part of their attendance at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference in Ottawa.
Kincardine met with provincial representatives to advance key infrastructure and transportation priorities for the community.
Among the meetings included with the Ministry of Transportation focused on Highway 21 safety improvements including speed limit reductions through the urban area and winter storm response.
Staff and council also met with the Ministry of Infrastructure chatting about provincial funding for upgrades to the Kincardine Water Treatment Plant and the Tiverton water extension.
