The Municipality of Kincardine is conducting herbicide treatment to deal with invasive phragmites which will being next month.
Treatment will be taking place from September 8th-16th weather permitting which will occur across the shoreline area, roadside ditches including areas along Concession 5 and 10, Sunset Drive, County Roads 23 and 33 and select municipal properties such as Mystic Cove, the Municipal Airport, Bruce Avenue wastewater lagoons and the public works yard.
Roundup WEATHERMAX is the herbicide being used to treat phragmites .
