The Municipality of Kincardine has awarded Diamond Head Sprinklers Inc with the contract for the new splash pad in Tiverton.
Council gave the green light for the tender on Wednesday to the amount of $274,950 plus HST.
Staff say once the design has been submitted, the public will be able to have their say on the design with a final make up of the splash pad then being drawn up and sent back for approval by the Accessibility Advisory Committee.
There is hope to have construction for the splash pad and be finished by the end of the year.
