While the total is still being counted across Bruce Grey Coldest Night of the Year Walks, specifically in Kincardine the number reached well beyond its goal.
Nearly 140 people joined the third annual walk with a goal of $30,000 and $33,745 being raised so far.
The money raised will go back to help individuals experiencing hurt, hunger or homelessness.
Donations will be accepted for Coldest Night until the end of March.
