As November draws closer, focus is now looking at the coming Remembrance Day ceremonies across the country.
Over in Kincardine, all hands are working towards the ceremony once again with some changes with the Canada Post strike with the with the donation blue bags.
Teri Leslie, President of the Kincardine Legion says as usual, their biggest campaign and focus will be coming up, the Poppy Campaign.
“Remembrance Day is a combination of everything that we do. Everything we do is to remember. The most important day, the most important time of the year is approaching us and that is our Poppy Campaign. Last year we raised over $50,000, we gave away $53,000.” said Leslie.
The Poppy Campaign begins on Friday across Canada.
