Kincardine man charged with sexual assault, criminal harrassment

A Kincardine man is facing numerous charges for sexual assault and criminal harassment after multiple women reported incidents to the London police.

On Nov. 12, around 10:15 p.m., officers were called to a building complex in south London by the local Fire Department after the fire alarm was pulled by a man aggressively attempting to gain access to the building. By the time police arrived, the suspect had fled.

A few days later, the man was observed attempting to gain access into the same building complex while wearing a jacket of a security company. The man was captured on video knocking on doors of multiple units. He attempted to gain access to one which was answered by woman, at which point the man touched her in a sexual manner.

The 51 year-old from Kincardine now faces charges for sexual assault, unlawfully entering a dwelling, false alarm of a fire and two counts of criminal harassment. He is scheduled to appear in London court on Dec. 16.
