Kincardine Pride recently announced that Kincardine Pride Founder & President Fort Papalia has retired from the Board of Directors as of the end of July.

He shared in a post that since the idea of a Pride Parade was discussed in Kincardine back in 2016 he always saw a wave of support for their efforts at promoting Kincardine as an inclusive, supportive and representative community.

He also offered thanks to the countless people, businesses, and organizations for their support.

He then thanked the South Bruce OPP detachment, who have been fully supportive, present and involved all along to ensure the safety of their events.

He also thanked Kincardine Pride Vice-President Sandy Blackwood without whose partnership this road may well have been untraveled.

He closed by wishing Happy Pride to everyone. Always forward and never back.
