The Municipality of Kincardine are developing a plan to address the housing issue.
Council on Monday approved the development of a Housing Action Plan in 2022.
In a news release, the Municipality says housing and rental prices have gone up while supply and vacancy rates are at an all-time low.
Mayor Gerry Glover says improving the local housing situation will require collaboration with multiple parties including all levels of government, developers, and non-profit organizations.
