Kincardine to Hold Testing of Emergency Bruce Power Messaging & Sirens System on July 12th & 13th

Kincardine owns, operates and maintains nine public alert sirens within 3 km of the Bruce Power nuclear generating station.

The Municipality of Kincardine has advised area residents that there will testing upcoming on both the Alert Messaging system and emergency sirens meant to alert the public of an incident at the Bruce Power site.

Kincardine owns, operates and maintains nine public alert sirens within 3 km of the Bruce Power nuclear generating station.

The testing of the alert messaging system is set for July 12th.

The siren test is set for July 13th between the hours of 9 and 11 am.

It will be at full volume to ensure all 9 sirens within a 3 km radius of the Bruce Power site are functioning as intended.
