There are a group of motivated Kincardine area businesses organizing a Santa Claus parade for area residents to enjoy on December 11th.

The “Christmas Kincardine Stay-cation”  will be a stationary event happening in the Downtown from 5 until 8:30pm. The main street will be closed to allow attendees to walk freely among the floats and displays.

Rachel Mackay, Parade Organizer and owner of First Impressions Hair Salon says it’s being organized to allow residents to enjoy festivities a little closer to Christmas and get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

If a business would like to put a float into the Parade they can reach snowbaby@bmts.com or at the Hair Salon at 519-396-2282.

The street will close at 3:30pm and setup will continue until 5pm.

Donations are being graciously accepted at the Parade in the form of food gift cards for area grocery stores, non-perishable food items in support of those at need this time of year.
