Today is McHappy Day. A portion of all proceeds from food sales today go to supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charity across Canada.
Meg Wideman from McDonalds in Kincardine tells us more about how the Ronald McDonald House benefits families that might not live near a children’s hospital.
“Ronald McDonald House is place for parents and their kids to go while their child is receiving care at the hospital.
The one in London is just about 15 steps away from the hospital.
It is just an affordable option for them to go instead of travel as some people don’t have the luxury of living in London or close to the hospital.”
McHappy Day runs all day today. There is also swag and fundraising items being sold with 100% of the proceeds to the charity.
