There is hope to rally the community in Clinton and revive the local Lion’s club in the town.
A meeting taking place Thursday at 7pm will invite all to learn more about joining and bringing back the Clinton Lion’s Club.
Lions International serves over 200 countries with 49,000 clubs nationwide with a membership over 1.4 million.
Bruce Bettles, the Lions Club G.E.T Leader says its important to have these clubs locally to help keep support within the community.
“Unfortunately Clinton just lost the Clinton Pool not too long ago. If I’m not mistaken that was funded by the Lions Club, they help put money towards that pool to keep it going.” said Bettles.
The meeting taking place Thursday night at 7pm will be held at the Clinton Arena.
