Those with clothing who could benefit from a repair are encouraged to come out and support the Huron Hospice with the Mending Cafe.
All are welcome to bring their items to the event at the Community Room at the Bender House in Clinton where sewing volunteers will repair your clean clothing or hem your pants with the request of a donation to the hospice in return.
While clothing is being repaired, visitors are welcome to get a guided tour of the residence and explore the grounds.
The Mending Cafe runs October 24th from 2-5pm and October 25th from 9am-12pm.
