Local baseball is back with the return of the Midwestern Ontario Senior Baseball League.
The 2022 season is set to kick off with a pair of games on Friday.
Listowel visits Woodstock at 7:30 while Byron is home to Lucan for an 8:30 first pitch.
The Kincardine Cubs open their season Saturday, May 21st against the Irish Nine in Lucan.
There will be eight teams participating this season each playing a 14-game schedule.
It will culminate with a playoff tournament on the weekend of August 12th to the 14th.
The league was put on the shelf the last two seasons because of COVID-related issues.
