If you live in the Goderich area and you see the military knocking on your door next weekend, don’t be alarmed.
Wellness Checks are being preformed by the military from May 3rd-5th doing the personal checks as part of training.
This comes after it was learned the Canadian Armed Forces would be conducting an emergency exercise in Huron and Bruce Countys with an expected increase military presence across the area.
Soldiers will be conducting fire fighting training, wellness checks, simulated search and rescue operations, establishing cooling centers and other activities.
