An exciting few days across Midwestern Ontario with Winghams Tyson Moran being drafted in the MLB.
The 19 year old was taken in the 13th round of the draft by the Kansas City Royals at 398th overall.
Moran was with family, friends and teammates when he was selected who had his name on the map with an MVP award at the Toronto Blue Jays Futures Show.
Moran had plenty of people to recognize to bring him to where he is today from his family to coaches.
Moran who plays for the Great Lake Canadians near London is an infielder and is an incoming freshman for the North Dakota State Bisons but considering the draft, there’s now a question mark on whether or not Moran will be heading to North Dakota.
Moran is now off to Arizona for a physical and sign his first professional contract for the Kansas City Royals and start his path to the majors through the Royals minor system.
