There’s a new mural in Chesley, ahead of the 145th homecoming.

The mural on the side of the Bijou Theatre at the corner of 1st Avenue South and 3rd Street Southwest is a project by the Chesley Kinsmen in partnership with the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie and supporting by a community grant from the Community Foundation Grey-Bruce.

The mural uses snapshots of Chesley’s favourite places and traditions to form a larger image of Big Bruce, the towns iconic Hereford bull statue.

Jeff Holding, President of the Chesley Kinsmen Club says they’re proud to be part of something that honours the town and involves so many local voices.
