North Huron finalizes sale of Wingham airport

North Huron council has made it official for the sale of the Wingham airport.

 

The Township and Papple Aviation went through its third and final reading of the purchase and sale agreement bylaw on November 15th.

 

The sale price agreed on is set at $200,000 which also includes the fuel tanks on the property, terminal building but does not include the hangers and RC Jets building.

 

The agreement must be made final by December 21st.

 

The final agreement writes “Upon completion, vacant possession of the property shall be given to the purchaser unless otherwise provided in this agreement.”
