Huron County OPP are investigating some damage to the constituency office of Huron Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson in Blyth.

A spokesman for Thompson’s office confirmed that the office was vandalized last week but nothing was stolen.

In a statement, Thompson says while she believes in peaceful protests and debate, vandalism, intimidation or bullying will never be tolerated.

Thompson would not elaborate whether the damages are related to provincial and federal COVID mandates which are sparking ongoing protests across Canada.

However, she did thank the residents of Blyth who stepped up in helping clean up the debris.
