South Bruce OPP continue to respond to collisions across the area involving deer.

Deer are much more active this time of year as its their mating season.

Between 7pm November 2nd to 7:30pm November 21st officers have responded to 48 crashes involving deer.

No injuries have been reported in any of the incidents.

OPP are reminding drivers to always be attentive from sunset to midnight and during the hours before and after sunrise as they are the highest risk of times for deer, drive with caution when moving in areas known to have a large deer population and that deer seldom run alone and if you see one, others could be nearby.
