OPP say speeders make up most of the traffic infractions over the long weekend

The OPP has released the Labour Day Long Weekend Traffic Campaign results.

In the West Region officers made 16 hundred 82 traffic stops, laying 14 hundred and 11 charges including 9 hundred 53 for speeding, 28 for stunt or racing, 25 for alcohol or drug impairment, 27 for not wearing a seatbelt and 16 for distracted driving.

Huron County OPP thank all the drivers and passengers who did their part to keep area roads, trails and waterways safe through the labour day long weekend.
