A settlement has been reached between the Town of South Bruce Peninsula and their unionized outside workers.

Both sides had been in a contract dispute that culminated in the outside workers being locked out by the Town on Sunday.

The new agreement will see a nine percent increase in wages over the next three years.

Council held a special meeting on Thursday to ratify the tentative agreement.

In a news release, Mayor Janice Jackson says outside staff are back to work starting Friday and all impacted services are back to normal.
