An Owen Sound man is doing his happy dance who cashed in on $260,636 after claiming the second prize in the April 9th Lotto 6/49 draw.
Ross Barkwell, a father of four and grandfather of three has been playing OLG for two years enjoying 6/49, Lotto Max and the occasional Instant ticket.
Barkwell says he wasn’t planning on buying tickets that day but his mother mentioned the 6/49 jackpot was at $44 million.
Barkwell says when he checked his tickets he thought he had won $26 but actually was over $260,000.
He says he plans to hit the road in an RV and invest for his retirement.
