Owen Sound Police charge 43-year-old after Human Trafficking Investigation

The Owen Sound Police have made an arrest following the investigation of human trafficking in the city.

Police arrested a 43-year-old male on Monday, November 21st and say he has been charged with a series of sexual exploitation charges.

The case began when police were notified of a 15-year-old Owen Sound girl being exploited for sexual services following the suspect connecting with the girl via Snapchat.

The online contact led to in-person meetings with the two and a second female youth.

The next court appearance for the 43-year-old male, whose identity was not revealed by police, is December 15th.
