There was exciting news presented at this mornings Township of Huron-Kinloss Council Meeting.
Business & Economic Officer, Amy Irwin, presented a Staff Report announcing the return of Pine River Cheese to the area business landscape.
The Lucknow & District Co-Op and the TG Group announced that they have partnered to reopen the local cheese producer. The plant will make past favourite cheese products as well as new offerings.
Planning is also underway to renovate the store to incorporate eat-in, catering and take-out options with the opening of an eatery, deli, pizzeria and gelato bar entitled the “Pine River Cheese Mercato and Pizzeria.”
Pine River Cheese is currently hiring and anticipates being open for the Summer Season.
