Owen Sound Police are investigating reports of a shooting in the downtown.
Police received a call around 12:30 early Thursday morning about someone firing a gun from a vehicle towards another moving vehicle on 5th Avenue East.
The vehicle where the shots were fired from was a black sedan, the other was described as a white vehicle.
The lead vehicle pulled south while the trailing vehicle continued west on Tenth Street East.
Investigators found multiple shell casings at the scene and one bullet struck a parked vehicle.
They want to speak to anyone living on the 800 and 900 block of 5th Avenue East who may have caught the incident on surveillance video.
