Westario Power launches EmPowered Portal to Inform Customers on Usage Real-Time

The company becomes one of the first utilities in Ontario to implement the Green Button initiative.

 

Westario Power customers will now have a easy-to-use portal to empower them to make informed decisions when it comes to their electricity consumption.

The company launched the EmPowered portal today and becomes one of the first utilities in the province to implement the Green Button. That was an initiative announced last fall by Minister of Energy Todd Smith.

President & CEO of Westario Power Jenny Alfandary says that they have created a tool that provides simple integration, is scalable across all devices and most importantly provides security so customers can rest assured they are not at risk of unknowingly sharing their information.
