The Port Elgin YMCA is set to open next week with the public being invited out for the grand opening.
Taking place January 15th, all are welcome to drop by from 12-4pm and celebrate, tour the new space, meet staff and learn about available programs and services.
The new Port Elgin location serves as a home for the YMCA’s Employment Services, Settlement Services and Community Initiative programs, expanding access to essential supports for Bruce County residents.
Sarah Cowley, CEO of the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce says a permanent location in Saugeen Shores allows them to better meet people where they are and continue igniting potential by providing accessible, welcoming spaces for employment, settlement and community supports.
