A water safety message has been issued by Saugeen Conservation which is expected to last until Wednesday.

Warmer temperatures across the watershed which will continue today and into Saturday.

Saugeen Conservation staff are aware of a large ice jam on the Main Saugeen River at Bruce Road 17 west of Burgoyne with the public advised to avoid the Main Saugeen River Downstream of this area as the potential for this ice jam to suddenly release as water levels increase and warm air temperatures weaken the ice.

While no significant flooding is expected watercourses could reach or exceed bank full conditions with some minor flooding in low lying areas.
